| (Cap 349 section 22) [1 June 1991] (L.N. 204 of 1991) Cap 349B reg 1 Citation These regulations may be cited as the Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation (Fees) Regulations. (Enacted 1991) Cap 349B reg 2 Fee payable upon issue or renewal of certificate of exemption The fee payable to the Authority upon the issue or renewal of a certificate of exemption under section 6 of the Ordinance shall be $785. (Enacted 1991. L.N. 405 of 1992; L.N. 229 of 1994; L.N. 224 of 1996) Cap 349B reg 3 Fee payable upon issue or renewal of licence The fee payable to the Authority upon- (a) the issue of a licence under section 8 of the Ordinance is the appropriate fee prescribed in Schedule 1; (b) the renewal of a licence under section 9 of the Ordinance is the appropriate fee prescribed in Schedule 2. (L.N. 212 of 2001) Cap 349B reg 4 Adjustment of certificate of exemption or licence fee Where a certificate of exemption or a licence is issued or renewed for a period less than 12 months, the fee for such issue or renewal shall be determined as follows- (a) in the case of issue or renewal of a certificate of exemption under section 6 of the Ordinance, by multiplying one-twelfth of the fee under regulation 2; (b) in the case of issue of a licence under section 8 of the Ordinance, by multiplying one-twelfth of the appropriate fee prescribed in column 2 of Schedule 1; or (c) in the case of renewal of a licence under section 9 of the Ordinance, by multiplying one-twelfth of the appropriate fee prescribed in column 2 of Schedule 2,by the number of months for which the certificate of exemption or licence is issued or renewed. (L.N. 212 of 2001) Cap 349B reg 5 Waiver of fee The Authority may waive, remit, reduce or refund the whole or any part of a fee for which provision is made under these regulations.
